FLEEB

The duo of the Basel vocalist Anna Hirsch and the Mannheim drummer Dominik Fürstberger. FLEEB starts where everything is connected to everything else; in a musical grid square in which programming, producing and musical virtuosity meet. As an electronic avant-pop duo, the two bring well-produced sounding music live to the stage. Their art of sound, supported by sophisticated electronics, grooves urbanly, leaves the  quirky space, irritates and at the same time breathes the vastness and laconic calm of a Nordic landscape, around which the nimbus of melancholy hovers.

With their keen sense of atmospheric moods and always carried by urgent vocals, their music drifts through multi-faceted soundscapes - sometimes eerie and gloomy, and the next moment poetic and tender. Both not only model their respective acoustic signals of the voice or the drums with live electronics and sharpen their sounds using a subtle sound design, but also play synthesizers to round off their sound worlds, which oscillate between man and machine, or to energetically charge them.
